By accessing or using Slovarish (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides a Russian-English dictionary application with search tools, word data, and optional premium learning features.

3. Free and Paid Access

• The core Service may be used without registration.
• Optional paid access is available through Paddle, our payment processor.
• Paid options may include recurring subscriptions and one-time purchases.
• Prices may vary by region or currency.
• Applicable taxes may be added by Paddle where required.

4. Subscription Plans

If you purchase a recurring subscription:

• Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings or Paddle customer portal.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Access continues until the paid period ends.

5. Lifetime Access

If offered, Lifetime Access is a one-time purchase granting premium access for the commercial lifetime of the Service.

• “Lifetime” refers to the continued operation of the Service, not the purchaser’s lifetime.
• Lifetime Access does not guarantee that the Service will operate indefinitely.
• Lifetime Access is tied to the purchasing account unless otherwise stated.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply under local law.

7. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining your login credentials.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Accounts may not be shared or resold.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Interfere with the Service or servers
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce protected content at scale
• Use automated tools without permission

9. Intellectual Property

The Service design, software, branding, and original content belong to Justin Douglas unless otherwise stated.

Third-Party Data Sources

Some dictionary content incorporates or derives from third-party/open resources, including Wiktionary (CC BY-SA), public-domain works, and other linguistic materials. Attribution is available in the Service.

11. Availability and Changes

• The Service may change, improve, pause, or discontinue features at any time.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties, and liability is limited for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
