Before you write

A few things worth knowing:

• Missing words are often absent intentionally — obsolete, dialectal, vulgar, or overly slangy words are excluded. Check English Wiktionary first; if the word is there without those tags, it may have been wrongly omitted.
• Some definitions appear in Russian because no English translation was available at the time the data was compiled. These are known limitations, not bugs.
• Adding new words is a complex process involving multiple database tables — submissions are considered but additions are infrequent.
